Whenever Goblin posts anything at all everyone else on the Zone must immediately read it with rapt attention and subsequently add posts that compliment him on his cleverness, creativity, bravery, wisdom etc. and agree with every single word he has posted...AMEN!
By the way, offenders will be immediately placed on Goblin's list for banishing members from the zone ... and believe when I say that the list does exist! Goblin has emailed several requests to the zone admins and community leaders asking them to banish members of the zone he doesn't want here. Star

I am sooo terrible. If someone were to be saying things like this about someone who was nice, I'd think, how awful, and feel so sorry for that person, but if someone says something slightly mean about someone who has attacked my posts, or been offensive to me, as long as it isn't r rated, I'm afraid I get a kick out of it. I wish I didn't, but oh well, thereit is, which shoud be a good lesson to us all not to be that way, because if we were, then something like this would be made up about us, then it wouldn't be funny.

I am glad you liked the rules guys! After reading so many of Goblin's posts, I realized that we have to set some rules or chaos will fall up on us here on the zone. But I have to admit that I did forget one rule ... number 11. No one else besides Goblin is allowed to have a two faced attitude, or not be loyal to his/her friends and backstab then on the very first chance they get! Now you know Labyrinth so you are forgiven for doing that with your above comment, but if it happens again, I am afraid you know the harsh consequences! LOL Star

I don't know if it just a coincidence or not, but Goblin hasn't been posting much lately, and he has not responded to this particular topic. Maybe he actually got the message? Or maybe he is just planning his revenge.
Who knows... We can only hope that he finally gets it, even though I am not that sure that he is capable to. If he is planning his revenge, well, we will soon find out what it is. He is not one to keep a secret for too long. *smile* Star

yeah, at first I feel terrible, then I don't feel as bad when I remember others thought it was funny, but you know, before I got on the internet, I never realized I had that in me. The net can be a self learning experience, because you discover some parts of your personality or character that never existed before, or at least you didn't know you had that characteristic.

Well, everyone has a sense of humor. But that sense of humor differs from person to person. In spite of that there are some things that are funny no matter what. One of these things is Goblin's desparate need for attention and reconfirmation of everything he says and does. His need is so intense that he can't see how funny it looks from the outside. Star

I can't help it but I can see through all his fakeness and manipulative self-centered actions. At the same time, I try to use humor to soften the edges.

well you sure do have a gift for it, lol. If I tried your method, I'd be skinned alive! well, as far as anyone can be skinned alive on boards where people are thousands of miles apart. I was never really born with the gift of quick wit, but I occasionally get lucky. Once in my room on for the people, I was talking with someone who was a real cut up. the site wasn't quite doing right, and just teasingly he said, I think wonderwoman is messing with my mind. And I had one of those rare moments of quick wit, so I said, how can I mess up something you don't have to begin with? He said, excuse me, I forgot, has anyone seen my mind? lol. I think the reason I was able to be quick witted then was because it was all in fun and no seriousness about it. I think i'd prefer boards to quicknotes, because I'm slow of wit in thinking of a clever answer, and quicknotes you don't have time to think, but must be on the ball.

The secret is never to feel ashamed of your abilities. Let them loose, give them wings and who knows where they will take you. Quick notes can be a good practice. I don't participate in quicknotes enough to get in trouble. I just don't care for the language so I don't get involved with them too

I know what you mean. I wish there was an easy way to turn off and turn on quicknotes whe needed. At least not one that requires one to go into the personal settings to do that. I like to chat a bit with people I know but mostly, I get bored with quicknotes cause it's not a real conversation. Star
exactly, in all honesty, unless more older people come on the site, I don't think quicknotes will ever really work out for me. I wish e-pals had quicknotes. Tthe feature its self is nice, but people just drop you for long periods of time, and expect you to just wait till they get bored with their other tasks, and a lot of the time, by the time they answer me, I have lost the thread of the conversation. I usually, but not always, but sometimes if I ask a question in public quicknotes, I get ignored, so unless I have something in common with someone, or like I said, more older people join, I don't think quick notes are going to work very often for me.

well I agree with you about public quicknotes lou, but when I have them to just block mass quick notes, and someone starts with me in the quicknotes, says something I mean, I'm usually not doing anything but talking to them, so that would work better for me if the person who started the qn, weren't doing anything else either. The only time I'm ever talking to more than one person at a time is if they start talking to me.

I haven't decided what I want to do with Quicknotes. Public ones can be interesting to read on occasion, then again, you'll see nothing but people saying Hey at each other. Then on occasion I'll get a private note from some stranger I've never talked to and all they say is Hey. Hey? Hey's for horses! LOL!

Hi star, no not at all, I was just talking to someone who quick notes when I have them on, and she sees me, but then she dropped me like they so often do, without so much as an, I have to go, and I just got bored and exasperated them, no offense at all. One thing for sure, you will find me a more focussed conversationalist, because I don't quicknote one, then quicknote someone else, then quicknote someone else, till I'm having 4 or 5 conversations at once. I'm not much of a multitasker, but I can quick note at least 2 people, and have 2 quicknote conversations at once, but the only time I'm ever talking to more than one person is if more than one person quicknotes me. The reason for that is only because if someone quicknotes me, I don't want to give anyone the brushoff by saying, not now, but I don't want to just dump the person I was originally talking to either, but I can usually carry it off, because most people are so slow in responding, not necessarily because something came up, butbecause they are heavy multitaskers.

I am the same way wonderwoman. If I quicknote someone is mostly privately and I only keep a conversation with 1 or maybe 2 max persons. What I do find disturbing is that if I don't read the quicknotes as they appear, they are gone once the screen is refreshed and there is no way to get them back.
